What to Expect On a Discovery Call

0:01 Hi there, I’m Anitra. I’m so looking forward to meeting you in a couple of days and thank you for scheduling a discovery call with me.
0:09 I wanted to take a moment just to share about what are some things that you can expect on our call.
0:14 In the email in which you received this video, I provided you with some reflection questions on what are some things that you could share with me on the call so I can learn a little bit more about you, your business, and your goals.
0:27 So, here are the three things that you can expect on our call. The first piece is to dump the junk drawer.
0:33 I know you’ve got a whole lot of ideas and goals that in your mind right now, and it may be a bit of a hot mess, but this is the time in the conversation for you to share with me what’s going on, and I will go ahead and learn from you to kind of figure out what are some recommendations for next steps
0:51 . The second thing that you can expect is to determine if we are a right fit. And so I would love to be a partner with you, but after our conversation, we may just may decide that, I may not necessarily be the right fit for you or the right partner for you to support you in your current goals and the
1:09 current situation in your business. So if that does happen, I’ll be happy to share some introductions or some recommendations with you.
1:17 But again, this is our time to determine, whether or not we’re going to be the right partners based upon the goals of your business.
1:24 The last thing that you can expect is to not feel embarrassed. So I know that you have done so much hard work in building your business, but you may be feeling really stuck and just organized.
1:37 And that may make you feel disappointed that you’re not seeing the consistency. You’re not seeing the growth and that your vision is not being realized.
1:45 And I get that. And so this is a space for you to be candid and honest about what’s going on in your business.
1:51 So that I can figure out how I could support you to gain more momentum in your business. Don’t feel embarrassed at all.
